No. Back Door Hero is formulated with clean, gentle ingredients and is free from artificial dyes, fragrances, and chemicals linked to hormone disruption, birth defects and cancer. 

Glycerin is a well studied and widely used ingredient, however can be irritating at larger percentages especially on mucosal tissues. The WHO has set a recommended limit for glycerin/glycerol in water-based lubricants at 9.9% or less.  While our product is not a lubricant and is meant for external use only, because we cannot guarantee that our products will not move toward the vaginal or anorectal mucosal tissues through movement, heat, wiping or sweat, we follow the stricter WHO safety guidance for personal lubricants.

So yes, we are proud to include this powerful ingredient in our formula but out of an abundance of caution, within the strict limits as designated by the WHO. 

We designed Back Door Hero with safety as a top priority and selected ingredients considered safe for sensitive use, including during pregnancy and postpartum. We also engaged a third party lab to ensure our product is free from all California Prop 65 Chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm.
